My name is Shana and for years I have been obsessed with photography, particularly portrait photography and once I became a mumma, my love for it only expanded. The ability to capture a moment in time, the way your children look at any given moment, the curls in their hair, the colour of their eyes and the chub in their cheeks. There’s nothing more special in my opinion.

I created Arber & Co because I wasn’t able to find a School Memories Book that I loved enough to purchase for my eldest who was getting close to starting school. I wanted something that wasn’t tacky and looked nice enough to display in my bookshelf. I wanted something that was high quality, pretty AND functional, but I just couldn’t find one that did everything I wanted. I felt this same way when I was looking for a baby memory book years prior and it just made me think, maybe I should just make my own? So I did.
